The Hong Kong SAR Government said today (10th) that it will determine the election of the Legislative Council on September 6 this year and will be published in the Gazette on the 12th.
The Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Bureau of the SAR Government communicated with the Legislative Council that after considering the relevant statutory provisions and past practices, the Chief Executive has indicated that a vote will be held on September 6 and the nomination period will be from July 18 to 31 .
