“According to the regional forestry dispatch services, over the past day on June 3, 26 forest fires on an area of ​​3,034 hectares have been eliminated in Russia,” RIA Novosti reports.

Five more natural fires continue to be extinguished; the largest area of ​​them is noted in the Amur Region (59 ha).

In late May, a state of emergency in forests was introduced throughout the Trans-Baikal Territory, in one district of the Republic of Tyva, one region of the Republic of Khakassia and one district of the Irkutsk Region.
