Even if he did a lot of concerts on the Internet during the confinement, Bob Sinclar misses dancing people. Guest of Anne Roumanoff on Monday, one of the most famous DJs in the world also tells the story behind his latest single released on Friday, "I'm on my way".

INTERVIEW

He may have lived "a moment of ecstasy, of artistic fullness" during confinement, "making people dance" is missing from Bob Sinclar. Guest of Anne Roumanoff this Monday, three days after the release of her latest single I'm on my way , one of the most famous DJs in the world returned to the genesis of this new title, composed by the Internet with an artist Jamaican.

"I make records" to make people dance

The least we can say is that Bob Sinclar was not idle during the confinement. Between his daily concerts on the Internet for his fans, 55 sets and more than 800 titles broadcast all the same, the DJ found time to work on a new single. "I miss making people dance, I make records for that. I wanted to make a very unifying title, in the spirit of  Love Generation  [one of his biggest successes, editor's note ]."

"I hope everyone will dance on it"

But confinement requires, it is through the Skype video conferencing software that the DJ had to compose a part of his new title in collaboration with the Jamaican artist OMI, the singer behind the tube Cheeleader. The result is a catchy, summery title, and Bob Sinclar "hopes everyone will dance to it". But it will still take a little patience before being able to dance thousands of people, since the Frenchman has not yet received any proposal to show his talents behind the decks. Not enough to undermine the morale of this "great optimist", who says he is "confident" for this summer.
