  • Moussa will not be on the mythical posts of  Koh-Lanta  for this season of "The island of heroes"
  • The candidate, who lost 16 kg during the game, returns for  20 Minutes  to this year's twists and turns and his relationships with other adventurers.

He therefore will not see the posts on which he was mounted in 2003. This Friday evening, Moussa was eliminated during the orientation test of Koh-Lanta , after more than five hours of research on an island in Fiji. The qualifications of Claude, Inès and Naoil put an end to the adventure of the thirties, he who participated for the third time in the game of TF1. But his adventure was marked by several highlights, from his arrival at the Yellow House to the meeting of ambassadors, through his relationship with Sam, his "young padawan. "

This year, Koh-Lanta mixed heroes and new adventurers, which was a surprise for Moussa on his arrival on the island, he expected to face sportsmen. And if we had told him the rules of this season before leaving, the candidate might not even have taken the plane! "You write it on paper at the start, nobody goes," he says. But on site, it's a real human adventure. We brought them a lot and these young adventurers needed heroes to accompany them in life on the camp and in the trials, to explain to them ”, tempers Moussa.

"We couldn't spend a day without problems"

While setting foot in Fiji, Moussa found himself facing four former heroes of the show. It was not until the fourth day that he joined the adventure by joining the team of the Jaunes. And that changed everything. "They welcomed me, they opened my arms, they trusted me," he explains. I had a big brother role, I promised to accompany them as far as possible. "Very close-knit with his team, the candidate would still have liked Claude, Teheiura and Jessica to talk to him about strategy," but they didn't offer me anything, "he adds. Regardless, the Yellows arrived mostly in the orienteering event, and this was one of his greatest victories.

The double Chinese boxing world champion participated in the program in 2003, 2012 and 2020, and it is this last experience that he considers the best. However, Moussa does have a few regrets, such as that of not having won any individual event this year, but does not mope: “My philosophy is“ machine one day, machine always ”,” he explains. he.

In addition, the adventurer considers that he might have been able to avoid some conflicts. “There were always problems, we couldn't spend a day without problems ( laughs ). And I always found myself in the middle. But it may be because I come from a big family, as a big brother, we like to solve problems. Sometimes you just have to know how to put yourself on the side. "

"The adventure in itself is extreme"

For his third participation, Moussa arrived "assagi", in particular thanks to his fatherhood. The "young kid" of 2003 has matured and made fruitful the meetings with the various adventurers to create "an alchemy which makes this season exceptional", he says by naming Teheiura, Sam or even Ahmad, "the great strategist of this adventure but with a good background. "

During his 30 days of fighting in Fiji, Moussa lost 16 kg. A difference in weight which caused a lack of energy to catch the victory on the orienteering test. And if he were to leave tomorrow, the 30-something would say no. However, he does not give up on a fourth participation later. “  Koh-Lanta is hard physically and psychologically. The adventure itself is extreme, he says. But it lacks to my credit the fact of winning more totems. The message got through.
