Three reports received by the Sharjah Police, at various times the day before yesterday, all from Wadi Al-Hilo, the first about the drift of a car carrying three young citizens, as they entered the valley, and the specialist teams were able to find one of the three young men on the first day, while I found the other two young men in The next day after he was dead.

The second report indicates that a car of a Mwatana family, consisting of a father and three children (a daughter and two boys), was drifted.

The search teams found one of the two boys, who is in good health, as well as the father after strenuous searches, while the girl was found dead, and the next day she found the second son, and he died too!

Unfortunately, and really painful, what happens in the valleys when the rains fall, where some insist on turning joy and joy into sadness and pain, and for reasons that are constantly repeated, in almost every season, most notably not taking care and caution, and not seriously dealing with the rushing rain water, and approaching the valleys Or, insist that it cross by cars, despite all warnings and warnings issued by the competent authorities continuously!

I asked a dear brother who is interested in rain affairs, following it, chasing it and documenting its precipitation constantly, between the reefs, the valleys and the mountains, in almost all regions of the country: Where do you think the defect is? Is the default from the competent authorities or from people? What is happening exactly? And why these accidents and these deaths frequently?

He answered: I cannot blame the competent authorities, as things are very clear, warning signs and signs are everywhere, and there are clear signs with known colors that prevent the crossing of valleys permanently, if the water reaches the red color. The police are also closing dangerous roads to protect lives and property, but despite all these warnings, there is a group of people, especially families, that insist on entering the valleys without having any experience or knowledge of the nature of the valleys, the quantities of water, and their movement, what That is, she throws herself in a real and surprising danger, as she believes that the light water that forms at the beginning of the rains is everything, so she finds that she underestimates her quiet movement, then she goes deep into the valley, then she is surprised by the quantities of water pouring from the mountains and high places, to find herself stuck, not You can go back or return, and here the tragedy lies ... where it is swept away by water!

So it is very clear that everyone's awareness and their ability to sense danger are unreliable, and that, if we want to avoid these tragedies, it is necessary to work to tighten the procedures and laws in the period of severe rains, and not to be satisfied with sign boards at dangerous valley sites.

Warnings must be started before the heavy rains, and sent on mobile phones, just like those for the start of the national sterilization program, these alerts must be in strict language, warn against entering places of reefs and valleys, and order those in them to leave immediately, in addition to the need for strict police regions Mountains with families and cars, and preventing them permanently from crossing some roads when the valleys run. It is also possible to create a bridge that cuts the public street in the Wadi al-Hilu area precisely, because the current situation makes the traffic confused, and no one can cross the road if the valley runs, leading to the vehicles owners resorting to searching for alternative routes between the valleys and reefs!
