At 33, Caroline Blanchet has been collaborating for several years with the NBA. On the occasion of the release of the event series on Michael Jordan, a poster she produced was posted on Twitter by the legendary Chicago Bulls franchise.

At her level, this young Frenchwoman participated in the resounding success of the documentary series  The Last Dance , devoted to the epic of the Chicago Bulls by Michael Jordan, whose episodes broke audience records in the United States, on ESPN and in France on Netflix. At 33, Caroline Blanchet, graphic designer from Cholet, saw one of her visuals picked up by the NBA team from Chicago on her social networks.

Caroline Blanchet has been close to the NBA for several years. After having started freelance work in 2013, a year later, she was contacted by the American basketball association to collaborate with the league. "Another graphic designer based in London said to me: 'I will give your contact details to the NBA, and we will see if it can interest them'. A few months later, I received an email asking me if I would be interested in work with them. "

"I wanted to highlight the Chicago logo"

During this collaboration, the graphic designer notably produces visuals for social networks, on the occasion, for example, of players' birthdays, or to advertise large posters such as the All-Star game. On the other hand, for The Last Dance , it was not an order, she specifies. "It was a personal project that has grown more than I thought on the internet," says Caroline Blanchet. Then, "the Bulls contacted me to ask for permission to share my creation on social networks".

The Dance concludes this weekend.

"The idea was to make an illustration showing Jordan, but without putting him in full light," describes Caroline Blanchet. "I wanted to work on the silhouette side and highlight the Chicago logo, because the documentary also talks about Bulls in general."
