At a press conference taking stock of the follow-up to the deconfinement, the Prime Minister announced that the ban on gatherings of more than ten people was maintained.

"The gatherings will remain limited to ten people" until June 21 in public space, announced Edouard Philippe Thursday, adding that this implied the prohibition of cultural and sporting events. "In places that are not organized, that are not under the responsibility of an equipment manager, in public space for example, gatherings will remain limited to ten people," said the Prime Minister, presenting the second phase of deconfinement. "Cultural and sporting events will therefore remain suspended", and "nightclubs, games rooms, stadiums, racetracks will remain closed to the public until June 21," he added.
