A ranch of ten points and so on. A history of more than 120 years. Hokkaido Anping Town May 28th 23:08

Yoshida Ranch in Abira Town, which produced a lot of famous horses such as Showa's representative racehorse Ten point, ended production of racehorses due to loss of breeding horses due to the fire of Kyusha.

Yoshida Ranch in Anping Town was established around 30th year of the Meiji era and is one of the most famous horse production farms in Japan with a history of more than 120 years.

Among them, Tenpoint, which was born in 1973, won the Emperor's Award in the spring of 1972 and the Arima Memorial, and it is called "Ryusei no Kiko" because of its beautiful chestnut hair and white peach that extends from its forehead. I have collected.

The farm had nearly 100 racehorses at its peak, but in recent years, President Haruo Yoshida (76) had a chronic disease, and last month the breeding of the Kyuya was bred. It means that they decided to end the production activity because all five horses died.

Of the five horses currently raised as racehorses, four are listed on the auction market this summer and the other one is to be kept in the acquaintance's hut. Mr. Yoshida said, “I had a job as a horse breeder, and I wanted to continue if I had physical strength, but I think it's the moment. I want to thank many people for their support.”

There is a ten-point grave at Yoshida Ranch, and we will continue to accept visitors who visit the grave.

Mr. Yoshida said, "There are no horses loved by as many fans as Ten-point. He showed a great appearance and he always performed wonderfully in big races."

What are ten points

Ten-point was born in April 1973 at Yoshida Ranch, which is located in Sarai-cho, Hokkaido at that time, and now Anping-cho. He made his debut in 1975 and won a total of 18 wins and 11 wins, including winning the Spring Emperor's Award and the Arima Memorial.

Above all, the Arima Memorial in 1977 was won after Ten Point competed with Toshoboy for popular horses from start to finish, and it has been handed down as a famous game that remains in the history of horse racing. Also, Ten-point was called "Meteor's nobleman" because of its beautiful chestnut-shaped horse body and the white mown extending from its forehead.
