May 22 is International Biodiversity Day. Infrared cameras deployed on Mount Animaqing and Dongzhiaona Lake in the source region of the Yellow River have recorded snow leopards, brown bears, lynx, wolves and white-lipped deer in the past year , Rock sheep, wild ass, Tibetan wildebeest and other rare wild animal images.
The Animaqing Mountain and Dongzhicuna Lake in the core area of the Three Rivers are the source of the Yellow River. They belong to the easternmost part of the Kunlun Mountains and have the largest glaciers in the Yellow River Basin. The place has important ecological value and local cultural value.
