Downpours. This is what should continue to fall in the coming hours in New Aquitaine. While part of the South-West was already on the alert for rain and floods, Météo-France has just placed the Gironde and the Landes on red alert this Sunday because of heavy rains expected overnight and Monday morning.

In the South-West, "the quantities forecast in 24/48 hours could be close to the centennial values in places", according to Météo-France. Météo Pyrénées even warns of a "potentially critical situation" in the Landes with "nonstop thunderstorm rain". Floods are therefore highly possible in the coming hours.
