The temperature in Moscow and the region decreased slightly after high rates on the weekend, but still remains quite comfortable.

Tatyana Pozdnyakova, the chief specialist of the Moscow Meteoburo, told RT that in the next two days the air will warm up to an average of +20 ° C, while rains, thunderstorms and a gusty southeast wind are possible.

"We believe that such a high temperature as we had yesterday (May 3 - RT ) is not expected in the capital this week ... We do not expect these +25 ° C that were yesterday," explained Pozdnyakova.

Nevertheless, according to the forecast of the Moscow Meteoburo, the indicators will still exceed the norm. May 5 is expected to be +19 ... + 21 ° С, in the region +17 ... + 22 ° С. May 6 is one to two degrees lower. At the same time, it will not be too cool in the dark, the meteorologist added, - about +10 ... + 12 ° С.

The scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Roman Vilfand, in turn, noted that the warm night season had begun in Moscow. According to Villefand, the excess of a 10-degree mark in the dark indicates his arrival.

“Such a temperature background is four to five degrees above normal, it corresponds to mid-June. This is due to the fact that warm air masses from the East of the Mediterranean are moving over the center of the European part of Russia. This air suggests warm weather saturated with moisture, ”he explained to RT.

Transition to norm

According to the forecast of the Hydrometeorological Center, the situation will begin to change on Thursday. The temperature will gradually decrease and will return to the climatic norm.

“May 7 is a transitional day. The temperature will still be quite high, around +17 ... + 19 ° С. But the Hydrometeorological Center predicts that in the afternoon it will begin to decline. And on May 8, the temperature background will go into its usual May frame. It is expected to be around +15 ° C, ”said Wilfand.

According to the forecast of the Moscow Meteoburo, on May 8 in the metropolitan area during the daytime the thermometer columns will rise to +14 ... + 16 ° С. Closer to the weekend, according to Tatyana Pozdnyakova, "the crest of the anticyclone will determine the weather." No significant precipitation is expected.

“There will be fewer clouds and the air will cool faster. On the night of May 9, there will be about +2 ... + 7 ° С. The heat will be in European territory, but not in the metropolitan area, ”concluded Pozdnyakova.

A cleaner sky will contribute to good visibility during the Victory Day parade. Recall that earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the parade on Red Square and the Immortal Regiment will be held when the risks of the spread of coronavirus are reduced, but the air parade and salute will be held, as planned, on May 9.

On average, in the European part of Russia, Victory Day is expected to reach +18 ° C, noted in the Hydrometeorological Center. Partly light rain may occur.

“Talking about the weather on May 9th is still very difficult. It is clear that it will not be anticyclonal, ”said Wilfand in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Temperature Anomalies

Meanwhile, indicators in many areas of the Central, Southern and North Caucasian federal districts will continue to exceed the norm, the forecast of the Hydrometeorological Center says.

As Roman Vilfand said in an interview with RIA Novosti, on May 6, the “hotbed of very warm weather” will shift to the Urals and Western Siberia, where the temperature norm will be exceeded by six to eight degrees. Abnormal indicators are expected in the Novosibirsk and Tomsk regions, as well as in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

“The atmospheric front will pass through the territory of Southern Siberia and the Khanty-Mansiysk District. In the Novosibirsk region there is short-term rain with a thunderstorm, but the summer temperature is +20 ... + 25 ° С. In Altai, +22 ... + 27 ° С, but without precipitation, although it is windy, ”the site of the Hydrometeorological Center reports.

According to Vilfand, in Tuva, Altai and in Baikal region, there remains a serious risk of forest fires.

“The year is expected, in terms of fire hazard, to be tense and difficult. Summer is forecasted with positive anomalies in relation to the norm, therefore there is an increased likelihood of a fourth and fifth level of fire danger - high and extreme, ”explained Wilfand TASS.

We will remind, earlier in the press service of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia it was reported that a special fire regime has already been introduced in 60 regions of the country.
