“Such a high temperature as we had yesterday in the capital is not expected this week. Indeed, on May 5 and 6, the daily air temperature will be around +20 ° C. Rain and thunderstorms are possible. But we don’t expect these +25 ° С that were yesterday, ”she said.

Pozdnyakova said that starting May 7, Moscow will be in a “cooler air”.

“The temperature will drop both at night and during the day. On Thursday, the daytime temperature in Moscow will be around + 14 ... + 16 ° C. And it will remain practically at the same level on May 8, Friday. But here the nights of May 8 and 9 are expected to be cooler. Because the weather on May 8 will already determine the crest of the anticyclone. Therefore, we will not have significant rainfall. Due to this, there will be less clouds and the air will cool faster. On the night of May 8, the minimum temperature in the region will already be + 4 ... + 9 ° С. And on the night of May 9 it will be even cooler, of the order of + 2 ... + 7 ° C, ”added the weather forecaster.

Earlier, the Hydrometeorological Center announced a “yellow” level of weather danger in Moscow and the region due to rain and wind.
