It is death in soul that the organizers of the Vieilles Charrues announced on April 15 the cancellation of the 2020 edition which was to be held from July 16 to 19 in Carhaix (Finistère). After the blow, they are now busy preparing the programming for the next edition "in order to be able to welcome in 2021 the maximum number of artists initially announced this year," they announced on Friday on the festival's Facebook page.

Eyes of course turn to Céline Dion whose tickets for the concert had sold out in just nine minutes. "We are doing everything we can to postpone this concert to July 15, 2021," add the organizers of the Vieilles Charrues.

Friday, the Quebec star said on social networks that the kick-off of his European tour was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. She was due to start her show on May 21 in Prague with six dates scheduled at the Paris - La Défense Arena from June 26 to July 4.

The organizers of the Vieilles Charrues also specified the conditions for reimbursement and postponement of tickets, indicating that "all tickets purchased for the 29th edition will be valid in 2021".

For those who cannot attend, they can have their tickets reimbursed from April 29 until May 13. "The reimbursement will be made between May 13 and June 30 on the bank card with which your ticket was purchased," says the Vieilles Charrues team.
