A new Astérix album will be released on October 21, according to Céleste Surugue, managing director of Albert René editions, interviewed by the JDD . It is not an album proper, but an adaptation of an audio book, released in 1967, with 14 illustrations. It is signed Goscinny and Uderzo and is entitled Le Menhir d'Or .

Audio version
Still according to the JDD , the 44-page album will be published in 100,000 copies and sold for 9.99 euros. An audio version will be available for one euro.
After Comment Obélix fell into the pot of the druid when he was little (1989), Les XII Travaux d'Astérix (2016) and Le Secret de la potion naturelle (2018), this is the fourth illustrated album dedicated to the irreducible Gauls, reports the JDD .
