This Wednesday on Europe 1, Xavier Gandon, director of the TV and digital antennas of the TF1 group announced that the final of Koh-Lanta, the island of heroes would be held "a priori around the end of May".

He said that, as usual, the end of this program, revealing the name of the winner, should be held live.

Cut episodes

This adventure game season mixing old emblematic candidates with new participants was launched at the end of February. The finale was scheduled for early May, but the coronavirus pandemic has thwarted these plans.

Since the start of confinement, several episodes had been edited and cut in half to allow the broadcasting schedule to be extended. This was the case for the reunification episode, but also for the episode broadcast last Friday and which ended at the end of the comfort test. The rest will be broadcast this Friday, from 9:05 pm, on TF1.

The shortened episode of Koh-Lanta last Friday was attended by almost 7 million people, for an audience share of 24.4%.
