Mervat Termas, 23, said the daughter of the artist's sister, Ragheb Alama, that she is one of the people who have complied with health instructions since the outbreak of the new Corona virus, so she sat in her home and followed the procedures of self-isolation and social separation, and despite that, she was afflicted with Covid-19 which treated herself from him while at home.
In an interview with "Mnassat" program on "Sky News Arabia" screen in Abu Dhabi, Mervat, who lives in the United States, said that she started feeling light headaches and symptoms, so she called the emergency room and went to a hospital.
Mervat did not imagine that her symptoms would eventually be diagnosed with Covid-19, saying, "I used to think that what I suffer due to pressure or sensitivity, but doctors said that these light symptoms mean corona, but I do not need to be hospitalized."
Mervat returned to her home, adhered to the prescribed medications, and added nutritional supplements to strengthen her immunity.
"But my condition did not improve, I had difficulty breathing, I slept 15 hours of extreme fatigue and body aches ... The symptoms worsened, I couldn't stand and walk, lack of focus, and gastrointestinal aches."
After 3 weeks, the strength of the symptoms of the disease diminished and the number decreased, just as Mervat said, "Over time I thought I had recovered, but the symptoms suddenly appeared and disappeared suddenly."
"The SK virus infected me with mild symptoms, then the severity of the disease intensified, so do not underestimate the mild symptoms," she added.
It is noteworthy that the daughter of the artist Ragheb Alama, who was cured of Covid-19, resides in the United States of America in order to obtain a doctorate in her studies.
