In France, Covid-19 has caused the death of 18,681 people since the start of the pandemic, or 761 additional deaths in 24 hours, announced Friday the Director General of Health, Jérôme Salomon. A figure that takes into account hospitals, as well as nursing homes and other medical-social establishments.
For the third consecutive day, the number of people hospitalized because of the coronavirus decreased (-115), and that of people in intensive care, a very followed indicator, fell by 221, specified Jérôme Salomon during his point daily press. "It is a slow but steady decline," he said, emphasizing the need to maintain containment measures and continue barrier gestures.
