Coalition May Day Central Games and Demonstration March 8:41 April 18
To prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, the coalition has decided to cancel the large-scale rally at this May Day Central Congress. This is the 100th anniversary of the opening of May Day in Japan, but it was an exceptional response.
The Coalition holds May Day competitions every spring every year, and holds a central competition in Tokyo with approximately 40,000 participants.
This May Day Central Convention was scheduled for 29th of this month, but in order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, the Union has decided to cancel the large-scale rally and refrain from the demonstration march.
Instead, it will be distributed on the Internet and the message of Chairman Kozu will be sent.
The Union is calling for similar efforts to affiliated organizations around the country.
In addition, Zenroren has already decided to cancel the parade for Chuo May Day which is held on May 1st every year, and will distribute the state of the meeting on the Internet.
This is the 100th anniversary of the opening of May Day in Japan, but the "Labor Festival" will take an unusual response due to the new coronavirus.
