In Tokyo Metropolitan India East Hospital, 11 people have been confirmed infected by the 16th.
Of these, 9 were staff members and inpatients who were working in the same ward, and patients with new confirmed infections on the 17th were also admitted to this ward from January.
The hospital said that the patient is "probably infected in the hospital."
