Aichi Prefecture 14 new infections confirmed New Coronavirus April 16 22:03
In Aichi prefecture, it was confirmed on the 16th that 14 new men and women in the 20s and 80s of Nagoya and Ichinomiya, as well as Kiyosu, were infected with the new coronavirus. With this, the total number of confirmed infections in Aichi Prefecture has reached 372.
The city of Nagoya announced on the night of the 16th that 10 men and women in their 20s to 80s living in the city were newly infected with the new coronavirus.
Among them, the woman in her 30s is the mother of a child attending a public nursery school in Nagoya city, whose infection was confirmed on 12th of this month.
Aichi Prefecture also announced that four males in their 30s and 80s living in Ichinomiya and Kiyosu have been newly confirmed. Of these, men in their 40s in Kiyosu City are seriously ill.
According to Aichi Prefecture and Nagoya City, 8 out of a total of 14 newly confirmed infections have no known contact with previously confirmed infections.
With this, the total number of confirmed infections in Aichi Prefecture has reached 372.
