Screen capture of the video of a resident of Arzon, in Morbihan, showing a deer going to swim at sea. - Facebook V. Gourin

A little sprint on the deserted beach, a quiet swim in a sea of oil, a few jumps at the edge of the water and then goes away. Saturday, a deer offered a little moment of happiness in Arzon, in Morbihan. Taking advantage of the confinement of humans, the animal went to swim on the beach of Kerjouanno, in the southern gulf. The scene was captured by a resident of the town, who filmed the ride of the deer from her house by the sea.

When the spring break had just started and the sun was shining, the beach would probably have been busy in normal times. But times are not entirely normal and nature is slowly taking back its rights. To accompany her videos posted on her Facebook page, Virginie explains that the animal took a bath for about 30 minutes in the cool water of April, before coming out again through the rocks.

In addition to being fast and an excellent jumper, deer can also swim. The scene captured in Arzon is proof of this. Several scenes showing animals returning to the city have been filmed by residents since the start of containment. In Ile-de-France, deer have recently been sighted.
