Activists on social media and US media have circulated harsh pictures of the corpses of the victims of corona virus stacked in hospitals.
Staff at Mount Sinai Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, US, posted pictures showing the bodies were kept in an empty room.
Other photos, published by CNN, also showed bodies in a refrigerated storage unit, which were placed in a designated parking lot in the hospital.
The Corona virus has caused chaos in American hospitals, especially in New York State, after infections and deaths have multiplied in recent days.
One of the rooms normally used to study sleep habits was used to store dead bodies, CNN reported.
One photo shows two bodies in one bed side by side, while another is shown in a chair beside the bed. The three bodies were covered with white bags.
