The Indonesian police have found the remains of a child they were looking for in Maluku province, in the belly of a crocodile, which they had been accused of having seized and kidnapped, according to the Indonesian news agency, Antara.

The police shot the four-meter-long crocodile after being suspected, noting that it was near the place where the child suddenly disappeared.

Police said the six-year-old boy had gone to the river with his friends to go swimming, but when the other children left the river, they discovered after a few minutes that their companion had disappeared.

After they were unable to find him, they informed his family and the residents of the village, but they were unable to find him, then the police came and shot the crocodile from a machine gun, and at an apartment found the remains of the child he had just eaten so they collected it and gave it to the parents of the betrayed child for burial.

It is mentioned that this type of zebra crocodile is one of the largest predators on this planet, as the males of these species reach seven meters and can weigh up to two tons. It is located on the east coast of India, in many countries of Southeast Asia, in Papua New Guinea, and in northern Australia. She lays eggs every year from March to August.
