Jazz guitarist Saku Kawasaki died 1:15 on April 15

Sawa Kawasaki, a world-renowned jazz guitarist and well-known for playing synthesizers, died of esophageal cancer. I was 73 years old.

Sawa Kawasaki was born in Suginami Ward, Tokyo, and started his career as a jazz guitarist when he was a student, and moved to New York, USA in the 1970s.

In the United States, he performed in a band of prominent jazz musicians such as Gil Evans and Elvin Jones, and also worked on songwriting using the latest technology of the time such as synthesizers.

About 20 years ago, he moved to Estonia, a Baltic country, where he continued to enthusiastically write ballet music and perform at jazz festivals.

According to a local official, Mr. Kawasaki died at a hospital in Tallinn, capital of Esophageal cancer on the 13th. I was 73 years old.

The organization that runs Estonia's largest jazz festival, where Mr. Kawasaki has also appeared, is "I am saddened by the death of a great musician who is a guitarist, composer and band leader. I will never forget you." I posted a memorial message on Facebook.
