Good deeds are done without noise and do not require recognition. But this is only if they are actually kind and their goal is to help others. Today, in the context of the coronavirus epidemic, millions of people have become involved in the process of providing assistance to both those who are in self-isolation mode and those who are fighting the virus in the front of the front.
Volunteers take care of the elderly and those with limited mobility. Volunteers go to hospitals, where now every pair of hands counts. The owners of catering establishments provide doctors with hot meals. Taxi drivers transport the most difficult shifts of doctors home. And this is only a small fraction of how civil society is mobilized for a speedy exit from this situation.
However, none of these people require flowers and applause. And moreover, none of them is engaged in self-praise 20 times a day, writing every episode of their “humanitarian” activities on social networks.
It is for this reason that the activity of impostors and provocateurs from the Alliance of Doctors causes not only questions, but also a growing sense of irritation. After all, they almost daily find themselves at the center of another scandal, which they themselves provoke.
In fact, all the activities of the "alliance" was originally built on scandals. But coronavirus has become their high point. Under the slogan "The power of doctors abandoned, but we will save them!" Vasilieva collected about 5 million rubles from gullible citizens, bought incomprehensible “personal protective equipment” (including building respirators), and now travels around cities and towns, trying to pass them on to doctors who are supposedly in need of masks and sanitizers. Of course, not a single hospital allowed this self-proclaimed “Salvation Army” to come. Because, firstly, under the current conditions, all medical institutions have been quarantined, and secondly, neither Vasilyeva nor her team members have ever submitted certificates on taking a coronavirus test and thus they can be potential sources of infection.
However, the peace process of transferring aid to Vasiliev is not of interest. She needs a scandal. Thanks to which she will not only receive her personal moment of fame, but also with the help of Western journalists accompanying her, will once again try to discredit Russia. Say, look how the tyrant Putin interferes with doing good deeds, thereby putting at risk doctors who are forced to work with patients without basic means of protection.
The fact that all this lies immediately exposed, no one cares. The fact that under the guise of "unfortunate doctors" Vasiliev uses the laundry staff and long-term retired nurses from medical facilities is also of no interest to anyone.
All new facts of the revelation of Vasilyev and Navalny, not embarrassed in expressions, are called "investigations of the Kremlin crook" and everyone who literally catches them by the hand is called "garbage."
But that is not all. There is not a single accounting document that would clearly show how much and what has been spent. No checks, no invoices, no certificates for the same masks. Nothing! And everyone who is interested in the financial side of the issue in the comments is immediately sent to the black list. For although Vasilyeva is not a gentleman, she should also take her word for it.
However, the money in this story is still secondary. While fools live in the world, with their own hands giving the scammers hard-earned money, such as Vasiliev, will always be in the black.
Much more important is that:
- Vasilieva is a distributor of fakes and possibly infection;
- her boisterous activity paralyzes medical facilities for which she is trying to break through with a scandal;
- “The Alliance of Doctors” systematically violates the regime of self-isolation and, by all possible means, tries to make boxes with contents of unknown origin get onto the territory of the hospitals;
- Navalny, Vasiliev and the Alliance of Doctors, during the quarantine period, are engaged in overt sabotage, provocation and discrediting both the healthcare system of the Russian Federation and the work of the government.
Let me remind you that at this very time, real doctors do not leave the “red zone” for 12 hours, saving lives and fighting for each patient. And, unlike Vasilyeva, who poses on camera with styling and make-up, they don’t have time to eat or go to the toilet.
Moreover, in the rare moments of rest, real doctors ask Vasiliev not to disturb them and not engage in speculation for the sake of self-PR. After all, if Navalny’s personal ophthalmologist really wanted to help, she would find a way to do this quietly, without too much noise and dust. As millions of Russians are doing now, taking part both directly in the volunteer movement and simply providing quiet feasible assistance to various foundations and people in their field of vision who need help.
And only Madame Vasilieva and her patient Navalny not only trumpet every five minutes about their “great saving and rescue mission”, but they are trying with all their might to earn recognition and reputation with the western man in the street with this campaign.
However, the most disgusting thing in this whole story is that it is done at the expense of those who, thinking that they are giving money for masks for doctors, actually out of their skinny pockets pay for the next PR campaign of swindlers and swindlers from the Alliance of Doctors and supervising their bulk.
If you really want to help, buy an elderly neighbor's milk and walk her dog, sign up as a volunteer at the nearest hospital, take the doctor home, go to the hospice or orphanage website and give them all possible assistance. But do not feed Lesha and Nastya. They already feel great, using you and the situation for their personal and by no means good reasons.
