Yamagata Prefecture has announced that one new woman has been found to be infected with the new coronavirus.
According to Yamagata Prefecture, the newly confirmed infection was a woman in her forties living in Okura Village. She worked at a visiting care facility in the same village as another woman who had already been infected. She complained of fever and sore throat on June 6 and was tested positive for virus.
He has been hospitalized, but his symptoms are mild.
It was the third person to be infected with the new coronavirus in Okura Village, and 39 cases were confirmed in Yamagata Prefecture.
At the conference, Governor Yoshimura called out, "For the time being, if you have lunch or a break at a business office, please try to avoid gathering in one place or take some time between them."
