The four members of a family from Bordeaux (Gironde) were transported to the CHU Pellegrin, during the night of Monday to Tuesday, following carbon monoxide poisoning. All were hospitalized in serious condition.

According to Sud Ouest , the first elements of the investigation showed that a "barbecue made inside the apartment could be the cause of this poisoning". The daily reports that "the firefighters were called at around 5.30 am to intervene in an apartment located in the Cours de l'Yser district".

On site, they came to the aid of a 34-year-old woman, a 39-year-old man, a 14-year-old adolescent and a 10-year-old girl who were victims of carbon monoxide poisoning. The four family members, suffering from severe headaches, were quickly transported to the CHU. The two children were admitted to pediatric emergencies, their lives are not in danger.
