The reporter learned from the National Nature Reserve Administration of Beichuanheyuan District, Datong, Xining City, Qinghai Province on April 2nd that according to the infrared camera surveillance video, on January 7, Xining captured the first national animal snow leopard trace.
It is reported that the snow leopard is an adult snow leopard, filmed at the top of the mountain at about 4100 meters above sea level in Datong County, Xining City. There are 4 herders below the mountain, and it is only about 150 kilometers away from Xining city.
In addition, from August last year to March this year, infrared cameras also captured wild animals such as red deer, rock sheep, light-bellied snow fowl, and red fox in the National Nature Reserve of Beichuan Heyuan, Datong.
