On March 3, after the Yunnan Provincial Epidemic Response Leading Group Command issued the "Ten Measures for Preventing Overseas Epidemic Imports in Yunnan Province", Kunming City started the centralized observation of overseas personnel entering Kunming. As of April 2, Kunming City has set up 63 designated hotels in three batches, with a total of more than 6,000 rooms, and a total of 5,727 centralized observers (including 351 foreign personnel).
Due to the significant increase in the number of overseas observers entering Kunming, Kunming coordinated three neighboring cities: Qujing City, Yuxi City, and Chuxiong Prefecture to help resettle 2,174 overseas observers.
