China News Network, Guangzhou, April 2 (Reporter Cheng Jingwei) The Guangzhou Traffic Police reported on the evening of April 2 that at 19:20 on the same day, a traffic accident occurred when a bus collided with the tunnel entrance in the direction of the Fangcun, Zhujiang Tunnel, Liwan District, Guangzhou. Preliminary understanding is that 13 passengers were unwell due to the accident, and all of them have been sent to hospital for treatment.
After receiving the police report, the Guangzhou Traffic Police quickly dispatched police officers to the scene and notified the medical department to send staff to the scene for joint disposal. The accident is currently under further investigation and processing.
As of press time, the accident vehicle at the Pearl River Tunnel Exit in Liwan District, Guangzhou has been towed away, and the road section has been restored to traffic. (Finish)
