What do the various cultural reactions to tackling the Corona virus mean?

As a global pandemic, Corona Virus (Covid 19) is a critical test that we are all going through, and we can say: This test prompted all peoples of the world to take a common stance towards this common enemy.

From this point of view, it can be observed that the virus in question united the whole world in an interesting way against this common danger, thus achieving the famous rule in sociology that says that the common enemy enhances group loyalty, and creates a new collective awareness.

This consciousness inevitably requires the meeting of the whole world and its condensation to develop a new alliance and a new policy of solidarity to fight this enemy. Otherwise, it is impossible for any country to win alone in this war. Rather, all countries must try to win this war collectively.

This is done through cooperation and sharing all the information and technologies that they have with other people and countries, without hiding any information in this battle, because when the war against this virus succeeds in one country it will not be registered as a reliable victory, unless success is achieved in confronting it in the whole world.

Likewise, even if the war against this virus succeeds in all countries of the world - except in one country - it will not be counted as a victory for the countries of the world over the virus because it is an enemy that wants to spread from one place to the whole world, and the borders between countries are not sufficiently protective to prevent it Because this virus is transmitted without the need for a passport, or entry visa.

This common enemy is forming a new alliance system that rejects all kinds of conflicts between countries of the world. Is this possible? In other words, is it possible to put these conflicts, wars and hostilities - which we are used to in the world - aside thanks to this virus?

This virus may have entered our lives to play such a role, as if it had come to reveal to us our human selves, and to help us realize our collective human condition. It is strange to attribute to this virus this awareness and this noble goal! If we look at it from the perspective of biological genetics, we may not be able to read this message, but from the perspective of spiritual genetics there is no doubt that this effect can be read clearly.

However, we can observe different patterns and behaviors in countries fighting this virus, as the people of some countries can interact and show very different reactions to this epidemic. In other words, not every society or even every person gives the same answer to the great question that this epidemic poses, as a test of humanity and man.

This is certainly not surprising. We are watching the reality in the United States of America - which is famous for its liberalism - for taking the lesson, and we ask: What kind of human scandal is inflicting on its medical system that wants to turn this human catastrophe into an opportunity for commercial profit! We see how American medicine - which has become a legend in its level of development - is now unable to cope with such a disease that has become a fatal pandemic and a massive pandemic.

As a result, American society today faces a tragic situation, where reactions are blind or overlooked on social responsibility in (expensive) health care services. Also, years ago, American liberalism was proudly proclaiming its domination of the world and its victory under the title: "The End of History", and now it seems that it has nothing to offer humanity; this is the picture!

In fact, the same thing applies to the European Union, when the virus began sweeping and killing Italy, it requested assistance from the European Union, and its requests were rejected by all of its countries, who invoked that the current medical ammunition is barely sufficient to cover its internal needs, and that it can only act within the limits of its capabilities .

The scarcity of medical supplies - over a very short period of time - revealed a chaotic situation, in which everyone began to see the need for one another, and to try to meet that by means of extortion, obsolete and burglary methods. It is also clear that the struggle against the common enemy is able to get everyone to get caught up in their own pitfalls or predicament, and make sure to protect themselves without being indifferent to protecting others.

We saw strange human behavior in attacking markets when social measures required staying in homes. People rushed to stores and malls as if they were in a raid, and they started to shred as if they were looting or collecting spoils, behaving as if they were hijacking products from each other's hands, it was Their behavior disappointed those who expected to see community solidarity in the face of this disaster.

When the same thing appeared in Turkey, the different behavioral responses in different regions enabled us to notice the difference between the way people perceive the world. Especially in the early days of the virus entering Turkey, it was observed that all store shelves in areas such as “Bakirkoy” and “Kadi Koy” - where a secular majority lives - were completely emptied and in a short time.

In contrast, neighborhoods like Al-Fateh, Basaksehir, and Ghazi Othman Pasha - where the same news has arrived at the same time and where religious and conservative people live in abundance - have not seen supermarkets shopping.

The strength of community cohesion and solidarity - especially in disaster situations - is an important sign of a society's evolution towards the nation, and the nation's mineral may come out accurately when exposed to such events. Turkey has always been a nation that has successfully demonstrated its authenticity, especially in difficult situations; this can be seen in many events throughout history.

We are not only talking about the culture of solidarity and solidarity that society has created; rather, in addition, political leadership - in other words: the performance of the state against enemies and disasters in harmony with society - transforms the country in which the state and the people integrate into a nation.

As for the people far from solidarity among themselves, they see the state as a mechanism that can be obeyed only to the extent that they fear their tyranny and coercion, and the state that applies this tyranny and tyranny when its power recedes a little is destined to lose control and control.

Besides the interdependence and the internal loyalty of societies in the fight against the Corona virus, the state of peace and harmony between the people and the state makes a big difference.
