On March 25, a group of wild finless porpoises hunted and played in the Yangtze River Basin between Gezhouba and Zhixi Bridge in Yichang. The finless porpoise is a state-level protected animal. According to visual observation, there are about 5 finless porpoises, which are active in two places. This section of the Yangtze River is a core protected area of Chinese sturgeon, and fishing will be completely banned from January 1, 2018. In the past two years, fish resources have obviously recovered, finless porpoises have sufficient food, and their populations have also changed from rare to common.
