A female student from Kyoto Sangyo University was attending a university seminar celebration held in Kyoto on 21 this month, along with another student already confirmed to be infected.

Male students participated in a seminar held in Wakayama Prefecture on the 27th, but students from Kyoto Sangyo University who were confirmed to be infected also participated in the same seminar.

Both of them have confirmed fever symptoms and will be hospitalized in the future.

Three people have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus in Tokushima Prefecture.

Governor Iizumi said, "Both of us cannot calm down the source, so we want to respond calmly. We want every citizen of the prefecture to take precautionary measures to prevent the spread of infection."
