The President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, stood up for European corporate bail. He scolded the Italian colleagues for their sincere and noisy gratitude to the active Russian military medical assistance in overcoming the pandemic crisis in which the Italian Republic found itself today, or rather, that system of European medical insurance that is not capable of overcoming the epidemiological challenges.

Today, of all European countries, it is Italy that has become the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic. And from Italy, the virus spread throughout Europe, penetrated into Russia and even the United States.

It would seem that in the regime of that demagogic European solidarity that the European bureaucrats so often like to recall with or without reason, all the EU’s capacities should have been directed at suppressing the pan-European focus of infection. However, in practice, everyone is locked in their national apartments and each one extinguishes a pandemic, while simultaneously using it for highly specialized domestic political purposes. As a result, Russian military doctors, as well as doctors from China and Cuba, help the Italians.

Outraged by the grateful reaction of the Italians, Macron blames the Italian politicians: they say, do not get drunk heavily from Russian help! Say, two million masks and several tens of thousands of medical gowns were sent to you through the EU!

Masks and gowns were probably useful, but without doctors and equipment, and most importantly, without the skill of localizing and stopping epidemics, it is hardly possible to help extinguish the source of infection.

Russia sent to the Italian Bergamo, where the epicenter of the virus infection itself, the best military epidemiologists: eight teams of doctors and nurses, anesthetists and therapists. All Russian doctors have extensive experience working on epidemics in Africa and other regions with increased epidemiological danger. Several military transport aircraft delivered to Italy the latest Russian special equipment, mobile complexes for the diagnosis and conduct of disinfection measures. Today, a detachment of Russian military doctors is working at the epicenter of infection along with Italian colleagues. Heroically, risking their health and life, Russian doctors save us, including all the citizens of Russia, by eliminating the European focus of infection.

According to media reports, other European countries began to turn to Russia for medical assistance. Serbia requested similar assistance last week. It is possible that other countries, left alone with the pandemic, will follow this example. Of course, we have enough of our own problems, and we remember all that anti-Russian rhetoric of recent years, those tons of poison that poured on us in the European media, that sanctions policy against Russia that the EU has implemented.

However, here we are defending the continent as a whole, and not some redneck interests, helping to overcome the crisis together with the knowledge and experience of our specialists.

The main lesson of the epidemic in the modern open world is that only everyone can be saved - or everyone can get sick. And, of course, Russia has been and always will be one of the main countries of Europe. Today's universal misfortune washes away makeup and tears masks from many people, politicians, and entire countries.

In fairness, it is worth noting that in Europe there are enough of their own similar capacities and, of course, there are isolated actions to help Italians from Germany and other places on behalf and at the initiative of the medical community. However, in the pandemic stupor that the EU is plunging into today, the European bureaucracy is simply not capable of clear and decisive action in an emergency.

The coronavirus that has covered Europe today raises the acute question of the advisability of preserving the EU in general, at least in the form in which it functions in recent years! The Schengen agreement has already been suspended for an indefinite period. All chimeras of European solidarity and the concept of the United States of Europe finally turns into smoke from the chimney of crematoria, in which they burn the corpses of old people who died after infection, who are forbidden to bury in the ground. Horror and fear plunge enlightened Europe again into a medieval stupor.

Of course, the seasonal pandemic will pass by the summer! Together, in the coming weeks, the severity of the viral danger will decrease. But the consequences that are occurring in the global economy, the pandemic crisis that has practically stopped the global economy, will continue and, possibly, for more than one year. And here it is important to reconsider many fundamental things and approaches both to individual European governments, and at the level of the EU and other integration structures in Europe. Either the coronavirus and the economic crisis all overcame together, or everyone is ill and the strongest survives, who have more immunity and resources. Who will it be? The question is rhetorical.
