[Explanation] On March 30th, in the nurse station in the cleaning area of Xiaotangshan Hospital in Beijing, medical staff were connecting with the returnees to be screened for screening by video. It is understood that, in order to do a good job in preventing and controlling the epidemic situation of overseas imported personnel, to ensure the normal order of life of citizens. Beijing Xiaotangshan Hospital was reopened on March 16 and has been running smoothly and orderly for two weeks.

It is mainly used for the rescue and treatment of those who need to be screened, suspected cases, and light and common confirmed cases among overseas visitors and returnees. Since the Xiaotangshan designated hospital was opened at 19:00 on March 16th, a total of 2002 people have been screened abroad (return) from Beijing, of which 1,682 are airport transfer personnel and people transferred from isolated observation points in each district to Xiaotangshan It's 320 people. We admitted 394 people for screening for a maximum of one day, and a total of 43 were diagnosed. Today, the hospital will send off the first confirmed cure.
[Explanation] According to reports, in order to ensure the speed and quality of screening of returnees, Beijing Xiaotangshan Hospital adopts a 24-hour continuous working method to ensure that there is no backlog or omission of screening personnel.

There is a relatively large number of inbound tourists, and we also require that we be both accurate and efficient. We have developed a thorough screening medical procedure, which people are suitable for suspected screening, which need to be screened again, and those who need to be screened again. We have established an efficient communication mechanism between clinicians and inspectors. Using 24-hour continuous work, staff can rotate, but work does not stop, so as to ensure the speed of our screening.
[Explanation] Lu Yiping introduced that Beijing Xiaotangshan Hospital has two wards of area B and newly built wards, with a total of more than 1,600 beds. The ward setting is strictly in accordance with the epidemic prevention standards to ensure that front-line medical personnel have zero contact with other personnel.

Area B is transformed from the original ward and can treat 144 light and common confirmed cases. The newly constructed ward can accept 720 centralized medical observers or suspected cases in accordance with the requirements of single room isolation observation. In strict accordance with the epidemic prevention standards, all the channels in the hospital area have been hard-isolated, and separate entrances and exits have been set up to achieve independent operation of each ward. They are on duty 24 hours a day to ensure that medical staff directly engaged in screening and admission tasks at the front line have zero contact with other personnel .
