Tens of thousands of Tunisians who were forced by the government's decision to ban curfew and stay in their homes did not find an amusing solution better than following a Tunisian show artist on Facebook. She started her first show, addressing them saying: "Stay at home and I will dance for you."

The artist begins her dance show in the living room with her sofa in front of a traditional oriental and Tunisian music, attracting more than 130,000 viewers, on her Facebook page.

Nermin shows watchers go daily for hours from depression as a result of bad news about the number of corona injuries and deaths, to a state of humor and laughter that fills the souls of its followers. In her first performances this month, Nermin wore a dance dress, put a medical mask on her mouth, calling on the Tunisians to stay with their homes, and to respect the government’s decision to ban curfews.

Thousands of messages poured out on the Nermin page when she veiled from appearing on the third night, asking her to resume the "Corona Dance" and saying they were fed up. After the page of Nermin, a performance artist performing in special parties and amusement parks, included about 100 thousand followers, the number of her followers on Facebook jumped to more than half a million followers with the start Its direct offers.

One of Nermin's videos had more than 1.7 million followers on YouTube, which prompted the well-known TV presenter in Tunisia, Samir El Wafi, to comment, denying that he was no longer the record holder in views.

He said, mocking his page, which is being watched by about 700,000 people, "I will cry over the percentage of viewers who boasted that I belonged to them ... after I saw Nermin reaching 90,000 views ... with a gentle physical exertion in which she only moved her stomach muscles."

The expansion of Nermin’s popularity and the demand for follow-up of its performances prompted artists and other dancers to weave its style, and direct performances appeared on Facebook in daily times that became similar to festivals.

Nermin addressed her followers, saying, "I am scared like you, but I want to dance and bring joy ... I want to send a message to everyone in the world that we must live life and challenge fear and corona."
