On March 28, snow fell on the Tanggula Mountain section of the National Highway 109 and was accompanied by a gale with instantaneous winds of magnitude 10, which resulted in wind-blown snow. The snow thickness of some sections was more than 50 cm, and vehicles were impassable. While the Tibet Anduo County Public Security Bureau implemented temporary traffic control on the roads, it dispatched personnel and machinery, combined with the highway maintenance department and the Anduo County Transportation Bureau to carry out snow removal and ice shovel, repair of faulty vehicles, and dredging and guidance of vehicles occupying the road.

After struggling overnight, at 23:40 on March 28, the section of the road was restored to Tibet, and two-way traffic was achieved at 6:59 on March 29. (The traffic police brigade of Anduo County Public Security Bureau provided the material. Reporter Zhang Wei and editor Gao Yuhui)
