American actor Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wesson returned to Los Angeles the day before yesterday, after spending more than two weeks in quarantine in Australia, after tests confirmed that they were infected with the Corona virus.

Pictures of the hero of the films "Forest Jump" and "Toy Story" and his wife were smiling as they smiled when they got into a car in the city. Celebrity news website TMZ said the pictures were taken shortly after the couple landed at an airport in Los Angeles. "Hanks was seen dancing after landing from a private plane," said the New York Post's "Page" website, which deals with celebrity news. Hanks, who twice won the OSCA award and one of the most popular superstars in the United States, and his wife Wilson were among the first big celebrities to have declared the "Corona" virus, which turned into a pandemic that claimed the lives of 27,000 people worldwide.

Hanks and his wife were treated in a hospital in Australia, and isolated themselves for an additional period after leaving the hospital.

Hanks was in Australia to film a film about Elvis Presley, when he announced on March 11 that he and his wife had been infected with the Corona virus. Filming in the film has since been suspended, and hundreds of other films and television shows have been filmed around the world.
