A South African beauty salon owner and owner faces charges of attempted murder, not to isolate themselves, after they were diagnosed with the emerging coronavirus (Covid 19).

A South African police spokesman, Vishnu Naidu, said the tourist had left the Kruger National Park - a popular safari destination - and had traveled to a nature reserve on the east coast of the country despite being notified of self-isolation.

"The person is currently being quarantined and will be charged with attempted murder," Naidu said, declining to reveal the nationality of the tourist. With regard to the owner of the South African salon, he underwent tests after returning from a trip from abroad and was notified of isolating himself pending the results. But the 52-year-old continued to run his job, Naidu said in a statement. He was arrested and then taken to hospital for treatment.

The number of people infected with Coronavirus in South Africa has risen rapidly since the first case was confirmed on March 5, and South Africa has become the country most affected by the virus on the continent of Africa, with 709 cases recorded, without deaths, until yesterday, Wednesday.
