In conjunction with the current conditions in the world, and governments urged members of societies to stay in homes, to prevent and protect, through the application of education and work systems remotely, the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation launched a campaign “Invest your time with digital knowledge”, through which it seeks to Promote the use of its online platform to gain knowledge by all members of society, researchers and students, through their smart devices and from their homes without the need to use paper or direct communication with others.

The Foundation owns a package of innovative electronic platforms and services that provide research and reading services, share content and download books and publications for individuals, specialists, school and university students, most notably the "Digital Knowledge Center", which was launched with the aim of developing broadcast mechanisms and making knowledge available in a complete electronic form that is easy and smooth.

The "Digital Knowledge Center" is the first and largest open Arab platform to incubate Arab digital content, in addition to its application as a solution to build and develop knowledge centers and use it as a tool for preserving digital memory for Arab institutions, as the Foundation seeks through the platform to contribute to bridging the Arab digital divide, with its content My number reaches more than 340,000 titles containing more than 3.5 million digital items.

The CEO of the Foundation, Jamal Bin Huwaireb, stressed the urgent need of societies for smart and electronic solutions, which enables them to perform all their usual tasks from homes safely and easily, and provides them with appropriate solutions to ensure their continued access to knowledge in all areas without interruption. There is no doubt that the strategy and vision of the rational leadership of the UAE have contributed significantly to the design of a strong and comprehensive digital infrastructure that supports this trend and contributes to the success of achieving its goals in all times and conditions. Noting that the "Digital Knowledge Center" project is an important shift in the view of Arab institutions to deal with knowledge products, from being merely a consumer of those products to a product of them.

The "Digital Knowledge Center" platform provides the capabilities of self-learning and serving the needs of school and university students, researchers and specialists in all fields, and provides a vast amount of reliable and reliable information sources that are characterized by high quality. The platform has achieved impressive results since its launch, as the number of visitors to the center in February reached more than 19 thousand visitors, and the number of times to download books reached 17 thousand and 25 times.

In the context of facilitating access to knowledge, the “Digital Knowledge Center” provides open mechanisms for searching and browsing digital content that covers all fields, and serves educational, research and scientific needs for all segments of society.
