According to seismologists, the quake epicenter was located 95 km east of the village of Esso in the Bystrinsky district.
It is clarified that the source of the earthquake was at a depth of 188 km.
Earlier, an earthquake of magnitude 7.2 was reported in the Pacific Ocean near the Kuril Islands.
