Transavia was to open its fourth French base in Montpellier on April 3. - Transavia

Transavia, the low cost company of the Air France KLM group, suspended all of its flights as of this Saturday, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

During the week, the company announced that it had made 111 flights which made it possible to repatriate 21,000 French nationals. The last Boeing 737-800 landed on the runways of Orly airport on Friday evening.

Transavia, which already has three bases in Paris Orly, Lyon and Nantes, was to open the fourth in Montpellier on April 3. It was to offer 21 destinations from the Hérault prefecture. All of the airline's flights to or from France are canceled until April 19.
