The police confirmed the information on their Twitter account. The lifeless body discovered this Monday in the port of Légué in Saint-Brieuc (Côtes d'Armor) is that of Hugo Toudret. The 21-year-old boy has been missing since Sunday March 8. That day, he left the Le Magnifik Club nightclub alone, located on the banks of Briochin harbor. He hadn't shown any signs of life since.

After a week of research, the investigators found the body this Monday afternoon in the harbor waters.

Since the disappearance, the prefect of Côtes d'Armor has issued a closure order for the night establishment for a period of six months. The owner was considering an appeal against this decision. It had already been closed for a month at the start of the year due to repeated fights.

The investigation is continuing to determine the causes of the young man's death. An autopsy will be performed.
