This Monday, March 16, 27 new cases of Covid-19 coronavirus were confirmed in New Aquitaine according to the Regional Health Agency. This brings the number of confirmed cases in the region to 179. Among these new cases, 20 are awaiting geolocation. These people for whom the origin of the contamination is not known are under investigation.

Nine cases, confirmed on March 14, which were not yet located, have been linked to a department in recent hours. In detail since the start of the epidemic, four cases have been identified in Charente, 27 in Charente-Maritime, five in Corrèze, two in Creuse, seven in Dordogne, 24 in Gironde, five in Landes, 44 in the Lot-et-Garonne, 18 in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, four in Deux-Sèvres, 14 in Vienne and two in Haute-Vienne.
