From February 21st to 25th, the China Hotel Association initiated a joint survey of the hotel industry and formed the report, which counted 600 hotel companies in 28 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions nationwide, involving more than 6,000 property projects.

Hotels and guest houses were closed for a while

The report points out that, as a whole, the hotel and guesthouse industries have been under greater operational pressure during the epidemic.

According to statistics, from the Spring Festival of 2020 to the end of February, the average occupancy rate of homestays decreased by 70.30% year-on-year, and the average room rate decreased by 50.00% year-on-year.
