A 101-year-old Chinese citizen managed to overcome the Corona virus in just one week of treatment, becoming the oldest and recovering older patient from Corona, bypassing the previous 98-year-old.

The 101-year-old patient, known to the local media by his nickname "Dai", was among the thousands of HIV-infected people in China, who spent a week at Wuhan Third Hospital, Hubei Province. According to the British newspaper "The Sun" and "Daily Mail".

The head of the nursing team at the Bohan Hospital isolation room, the disease outbreak center, Li Lai, confirmed that Dai was "very active" upon his discharge from the hospital. Pictures of the elderly man leaning against a wooden crutch, speaking with nurses and doctors, wore protective suits.

Li Lai said that Dai was worried about his 92-year-old wife, who was alone at home, and therefore, designed the patient to "improve his condition as soon as possible so that he can go home and take care of her."

The elderly man felt uncomfortable last month, and he was taken to hospital after being diagnosed with the virus, and although he became healthy after only one week, doctors asked him to undergo quarantine for two weeks.
