"The Best in me", the song by Tom Leeb who will represent France at Eurovision, is in the sights of the association "Francophonie futur", which denounces that the song is in English. She asks that it be translated in full, "The Best in me" thus becoming "The best in me" ... or failing that this piece is replaced by another.

The choice of Tom Leeb (son of humorist Michel Leeb) to represent France had been announced on January 14 by France Télévisions. Besides the singer, it is the public group which finds itself annoyed by this affair. Because France televisions had decided to choose the French candidate for Eurovision itself, just to put better chances on its side. The competition therefore does not start in the best way for Tom Leeb, who will still try to win in a competition where France has not triumphed for more than thirty years.

The 2020 edition of Eurovision will take place on May 16 in Rotterdam, to follow on France 2.
