Chris Evans is still further from his role as Captain America. After playing the manipulator Ransom Drysdale in A couteaux tirés , the actor would be tipped for the role of dentist Orin Scrivello in a new remake of La Petite Boutique des Horreurs , according to Deadline.
The original film, directed by Roger Corman in 1960, told what happened to Seymour, a clumsy florist, when he realized that his carnivorous plant could speak… and that it fed on human blood. Adapted as a musical, then in a feature film by Frank Oz, both much less morbid, La Petite Boutique des Horreurs has since become a cult work.

Chris Evans would therefore resume the role played by Steve Martin in the film of Frank Oz, a sadistic and violent dentist who strikes his companion Audrey, who is, in turn, secretly in love with Seymour. Steve Martin had also delivered a legendary version of the Dentist song ! . Still according to Deadline, other stars could join the cast, such as Scarlett Johansson, Taron Egerton or even Billy Porter.
No release date has been announced, but we already know that the film will be directed by Greg Berlanti, well known to superhero fans for having created the Arrowverse, the television counterpart of the cinema universe linked to comics. DC.
