Austrian authorities said on Wednesday that the infection with the new coronavirus was first confirmed.

The infection was confirmed by two people living in Innsbruck, the capital city of Tyrol in western Austria, bordering Italy, both of whom are Italian and are 24 years old, but their gender has not been disclosed.

They are being treated at a hospital in Tyrol and have a fever but mild symptoms.

Croatia

Meanwhile, a new coronavirus infection was also confirmed in Croatia in southeastern Europe for the first time in Japan.

Authorities have confirmed that the infection was confirmed by a Croatian man who had been in Milan, Italy from 19 to 21 this month.

The man is isolated in a hospital in the Croatian capital of Zagreb, but his symptoms are mild.
