Actor Johnny Depp - David Lefranc / Starface

The war continues between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard and this time, it's the fans who could make things happen. According to the New York Post , a new initiative to support the Pirates of the Caribbean actor intends to tip the scales in his favor, if not from a legal point of view, at least in terms of image public. A petition posted on Change.org simply claims that L'Oréal will break its contract with Amber Heard, who is still the brand's ambassador.

"A violent liar, a shame for women", can we read from the first sentence of the petition, which already has more than 7,000 signatures. Another petition, with the same objective, recently exceeded 5,000 signatures.

The time of confessions

These two petitions were launched after the Daily Mail put online last January, audio recordings in which Amber Heard admits to having hit Johnny Depp. In the document, the Aquaman star apologizes to her husband at the time for hitting him, and even admits that she could again be violent.

"Sometimes I'm so pissed off that I can't control myself anymore," can we hear him explain to the actor. For the moment, L'Oréal has made no statement on the matter.
